Bellaboo ChatterChicks Global Search For Teen Marketing Team
Bellaboo, an all-natural skin care brand for tweens and teens, was founded for girls by girls. Bellaboo began with a Bellaboo Crew � 6 Aussie teens recruited from the outset of brand development to be the eyes, ears, thoughts, voice and ambassadors for the brand. The Bellaboo Crew has been pivotal in shaping the brand - everything from product formulation and packaging to marketing.
With the global reach of Bellaboo comes the launch of a global community of teen girls � Bellaboo ChatterChicks.
Bellaboo President Babe, Snezna Kerekovic, explains the concept: �I began Bellaboo with a vision to create an all round teen brand experience from their very own beauty products, to their own magazine, and their own movement. But as a 40-something woman with her teens well and truly behind her, I figured I was no expert on being a teen! So, I called in the experts…teen girls. My original Crew of 6 teens has seriously and totally shaped brand Bellaboo and I knew we needed to make it global.
�With Bellaboo now in stores in the United States (drugstore.com, Sears, Giant Eagle, Whole Foods) and in Canada, I needed to expand our team globally. Whilst teens are teens, there are definitely some differences between teen girls in Australia, say, and those in the US.
�Bellaboo never wants to pretend to be our customer and follower, we literally want to be inside her head. It made perfect sense to come up with a way that girls from all over the world could join our team. Cue: ChatterChicks!�
Bellaboo ChatterChicks taps into a teen�s life online and her desire to be a social networker, connecting friends and cool info and experiences. It also gives her an opportunity to intern with a brand that will provide her with experience across product development, marketing, media and social causes.
Bellaboo ChatterChicks launched online at http://www.bellaboobabe.com and http://www.facebook.com/bellaboobabe , inviting girls 12-20 to submit an essay pitching why they would make an awesome ChatterChick.
As Snezna explains it: �We are tapping into those girls who have a desire to gain experience in marketing and media, who are avid bloggers, tweeters, social connectors. They provide insight into our target demo as well as being our feet on the street and clicks on keyboards to spread the Bellaboo word on natural skin care, and our Make the Change cause on real beauty and self esteem.�
The first group of ChatterChicks has been selected and will be kick starting their internships this month.
Snezna says: �It�s a friends with benefits deal�whilst helping us understand our teen customer and connect with her, our ChatterChicks will be rewarded with free Bellaboo skin care for life; an opportunity to write stories for our magazine, interview celebrities, attend red carpet and other amazing events, and along the way get some incredible credentials for their resume.
